Carolyn Godfrey is the president and founder of Evolve Consulting and Coaching, a San Francisco Bay Area-based coaching and leadership development firm. Carolyn works with companies and groups of all sizes to increase the productivity and efficiency of their individual key contributors as well as their organizational teams. Her proven track-record in maximizing performance comes from a systematic, results-oriented approach to helping individuals and teams achieve productivity gains while navigating through complex organizational change.  Carolyn’s consulting assignments focus on developing managers and leaders, specifically around interpersonal skills and organization development. These programs, which are highly customized for each unique situation, can be utilized with a single individual, a group, or both.

Carolyn holds an M.A. in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. As an undergrad Carolyn earned a B.S. in Chemistry. This technical background, combined with her powerful interpersonal, speaking, presentation and coaching skills, makes her ideally suited to the particular types of employees and companies found in the greater Bay Area. Prior to founding Evolve, Carolyn held leadership and corporate line management positions in the enterprise software development and environmental engineering and services industries. It is there she learned the secrets to facilitating successful organizational change initiatives as well as developing the leadership capabilities of technical professionals in order to maximize their performance and achieve business results.

Carolyn’s coaching creates breakthroughs for individuals and teams with her expertise in transforming human behavior. She works with individuals who are ready to create the success they want in their personal and professional lives. Her clients are entrepreneurs, corporations and small businesses.  Carolyn employs team coaching for organizations looking to optimize performance. Typically, Carolyn is brought in by a management supervisor and asked to outline a plan to increase the productivity and performance of a team of co-workers. After kicking off the coaching program with the group, she then follows up individually with each member of the team to assist them in meeting their individual program goals. This combination of one-on-one and team coaching has proven to be the most effective way to improve operating efficiencies, increase employee retention, and build stronger relationships between management and staff.
