SEXUALITY: The Next Edge for Coaches Development

Monday, September 20, 2010
6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Orinda Library (Directions & Map)
Presenters: Mai Vu and Alisha Price
The subject sexuality rarely gets mentioned or addressed when it comes to coach training. Furthermore when this topic comes up it quickly falls into the realm of taboos, inappropriateness or some form of addiction or illness. Yet from our experience, clients are hungering for a place to openly talk about their sexuality, relationships, and intimacy. They are starving and depleted in their life, because they don’t have a good relationship with their sexuality. They are asking for it. They are ready. Are we? We bring you simple yet powerful tools to engage and deepen your coaching. Furthermore in order to create true transformation, your willingness to stand in your own fire and expand your comfort level around your own sexual expression is REQUIRED. During this presentation we will put you on the hot seat, asking demanding and sometimes uncomfortable questions, and holding the space for you until your discomfort becomes relaxation. Together we will explore the territory of desire, fear and resistance so that your relationship to your own sexuality can loosen and expand. Only then can you expect to have the curiosity and capacity to hold space for your clients as they do the same.
Attend the East Bay Coaches chapter meeting on Monday, September 20th and learn:
- Why expanding your comfort level around sexuality is crucial to your evolution as a coach
- How including their sexuality in your coaching will create deeper levels of trust and intimacy which will lead to client satisfaction (for both sides), retention, and success
- What and how to engage with client’s desire, resistance and fear.
- How a healthy and free relationship to their sexuality directly ties into their leadership development and success.
