6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Orinda Library (Directions & Map)

The meeting will be held in the Community Center which is connected to the Library building.

Presenter: Veronica Wolfe and Sara Orem

The World Café is an informal, interactive environment in which participants move among cozy tables with candles and butcher paper and important topics – like what we want the future of coaching to look like. This way of engaging was created by Juanita Brown, who, with her husband, is an organization development consultant to non-governmental organizations as well as corporations and other civic groups. Their intent was to bring diverse parts of organizations together to talk about what affects each member and what members want their organization to be. Our East Bay Coaches (EBC) event will pose provocative questions, invite playful and creative answers and engage each member and guest in thinking big about what coaching can be, and what East Bay Coaches can be.

Presentation objectives:

  • To engage the membership and guests in experiential learning.
  • Encourage interaction on a deep, interpersonal level.
  • Explore, be curious about, and play with ideas, relationships, and structure in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Reveal trends, longings, and hopes for our chapter and for the profession of coaching.

EBC President Veronica Wolfe’s work (http://consciousclarity.com) in the world focuses on positive change and movement. She is experienced facilitating World Cafés in corporate and organizational settings. She has led peer circles, coaching circles and wisdom circles.
