Mastermind Group Starting on March 22

    March 8, 2011 by EBC · Leave a Comment

Here’s an opportunity to join an elite group of like-minded peers, who will support and foster your growth personally and professionally. The bonus of such a group is that you’re forming close relationships while serving each other in a way that only a close group can do.

If you’re not familiar with Mastermind, this model of support was created by Napoleon, author of Think and Grow Rich. As a result of this system, many who have followed the Mastermind principles have enjoyed success beyond what they could have accomplished on their own.

A Mastermind offers a combination of peer brainstorming, education, accountability and support in a group setting so that you can sharpen your business and personal skills. In other words, you have support to help you navigate through the sometimes murky water of personal and professional growth.

This Mastermind will be virtual, meeting weekly via a teleconference line, so there is no need to leave your home.

Change is difficult. New research is beginning to explain why it’s so difficult, and how it can happen more easily. However, to achieve this we may need to rethink many accepted paradigms, as brain research is uncovering a series of surprises about human functioning.

In 2004, David founded the brain-based approach to coaching, which has gathered momentum as a theory base for coaching. In collaboration with several leading neuroscientists, David is working to explain the neural basis of issues like self-awareness, reflection, insight and accountability.

NeuroLeadership is focusing on four domains that are emerging as the central organizing principles:

    1. Decision making and problem solving
    2. Staying cool under pressure
    3. Collaborating with others
    4. Facilitating change

Your effectiveness as a coach can be maximized if you incorporate the latest findings from neuroscience into your approach. David will help you understand how change occurs, and how to incorporate these findings into your coaching methodology to help clients accept and deal with change initiatives. Attendees will gain insights that can improve their own effectiveness and productivity as well as ways to help their clients.
