Join a fun, supportive group for beginning and experienced writers to spark your creativity, develop your unique voice, and cultivate your powers of expression. You’ll receive prompts to inspire spontaneous writing, you’ll play with words in whatever genre you choose, you’ll share your work, and feedback will celebrate your strengths as a writer. Cynthia Leslie-Bole, founder of Hummingwords, is a poet, a CTI-trained personal coach, and writing group leader with a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Communication. She is an AWA Affiliate, certified to lead workshops in the AWA method as described in Writing Alone and With Others, by Pat Schneider, Oxford University Press. Cynthia Leslie-Bole, M.A., is a CTI-trained Life Coach, communication consultant, trainer, writer, and former business leader.  In addition to helping individual clients to discover their own wisdom and joy, Cynthia has created and facilitated many personal growth workshops, women’s wisdom groups, and writing/bookmaking workshops that use writing and creative arts as methods of inquiry and exploration.  She has taught communication courses for UC Berkeley Extension, the University of Delaware, and Executive Enterprises. She has also offered numerous “train-the-trainer” courses to enhance the presentation skills of training professionals. As a consultant, she has advised and trained corporate clients in all aspects of communication, including media relations, crisis communication, community relations, risk communication, project management, technical writing, and editing.

Cynthia’s ability to ignite the sparks of possibility and optimism in others through intuitive, compassionate guidance has enabled her to inspire hundreds of people through her workshops, classes, consulting, and private coaching.
